Whether you are shopping for handcrafted pottery, traditional Mexican decor, religious artwork, or artisan gifts, we strive to provide a positive shopping experience. Please review our return and refund policy below.

1. Product-Specific Return Exemptions

Due to the nature of certain products, the following items may not qualify for standard returns:

  • Used Kitchen & Dining Products: For hygiene and food safety reasons, any pottery, mugs, cups, serving dishes, or kitchenware that has been used, washed, or altered cannot be returned.
  • Final Sale Items: Products marked as clearance, final sale, or non-returnable at the time of purchase.

2. Standard Returns

For eligible items such as home decor, figurines, folk art, and unused merchandise:

Return Window: You must request a return within 14 days of delivery.

Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, and returned in their original condition with all original packaging and tags when applicable.

Please note that many artisan products are handcrafted. Minor variations in color, shape, texture, and finish are part of their unique character and are not considered manufacturing defects.

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact our team with your order number and reason for the return.
  2. Carefully package the item to help prevent damage during return transit.
  3. Ship the item back to our return address or bring it directly to our store during business hours.

4. No Restocking Fees

Ilianas Artesanias Mexicanas does not charge restocking fees for approved returns.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide photographs of:

  • The damaged item
  • The shipping box
  • The product packaging

Once reviewed, we will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund.

6. Refunds

Processing Time: Approved refunds are typically processed within 7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.

Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during checkout.

Please note that financial institutions may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

7. Return Shipping Costs

Change of Mind Returns: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Incorrect or Damaged Orders: If we shipped the wrong item or the product arrived damaged, we will cover any reasonable return shipping expenses.
